Children’s Parties at Katherine’s

A party at Katherine’s will be different from the usual parties that many children attend today. While your guests are enjoying themselves, they won’t be running or jumping but rather sitting, listening, eating, learning, and enjoying themselves. Let us show them how children had fun years ago, before TV, computers, and cell phones.

Included: (Ages 5 and Up) One and a half hour party time in our Private Tea Room, Personal Wait Staff. Invitations to send, place cards, thank you notes, and a party favor. Dress up items, hats, gloves, feather boas, necklaces, etc. Katherine will give a Mini Etiquette/Manners lesson during the tea party. Depending on the number of guests and their ages, Katherine will read an age appropriate story or play a game and explain more about the lives of children in years gone by.

Your guests are served each course on fine china and lovely table linens.
Your Tea Party Delights Include:

First Course:
A petite assortment of freshly baked scones, muffins and sweetbreads, served with house made jam, and honey butter.

Second Course:
Selections of bite sized sweet and savory tea sandwiches. Examples: peanut butter and fluff on graham cracker, apples drizzled with honey, cinnamon cream cheese on raisin bread.

Third Course:
Treat Plate – Chef’s selection of cookies and pastries, accompanied by a festive cupcake (choice of vanilla or chocolate cake & color of frosting).

Unlimited pot of flavored tea, hot or iced, served in china teacups.
Please advise us of any special food concerns of your guests, any we will try to accommodate.

Price: $24.00 per child (minimum of 8)

Two adults may be present in our party room during the "Tea Party". They may order what the children are having at $15.00 ea. or they are welcome to order from our menu. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking. The balance and final head count is due seven (7) days prior to the party. Should it become necessary to cancel your party after the final payment has been made, we cannot refund your money, however we will make every attempt to reschedule upon availability. Please encourage all young ladies to wear their favorite party dress, and young gentlemen to wear a shirt and tie. Naturally, best behavior will be expected of all in attendance.

Absolutely No Outside Food May Be Brought Onto Premises
